Description: Slices of potato cut more than 5mm thick. Sauté potatoes can be served crispy or baked with cream to make a Gratin Dauphinois
Preparation: In the fryer: Fry small quantities of the frozen potato slices in hot fat or oil at 175°C / 350° F for 3 - 4 minutes.
Should you require to fry larger quantities we recommend that you defrost the quantity required at room temperature for approximately 2 hours. This will have the effect of reducing the temperature fall in the oil when the product is placed in the fryer and accordingly cooking time should be reduced to 2-3 minutes.
In the frying pan: Heat a knob of butter and a little cooking oil in the pan. Place the frozen potato slices in the pan and fry them on a medium heat for approximately 10-12 minutes turning them regularly during frying
