Description:A wrapped frozen baked round pie, comprising of a rich balti sauce (vegetables, herbs & spices cooked in oil) with chunks of chicken in a light puff pastry case
Preparation:For best results, please heat pies in a conventional oven or pie heater rather than using a microwave. Heat from frozen, keep wrapper ON. For a pre heated fan- assisted oven / gas oven: 40 minutes at 160°C (3200F) /Gas Mark 2/3. For warming in a pre heated ‘Pukka pies’ heater: 1½ hours on full.
Ingredients:Balti Sauce (36%): (Water, Onions, Vegetable Oil, Carrots, Tomatoes, Green & Red Peppers, Modified Maize Starch, Tomato Puree, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Sugar, Herbs & Spices), Wheatflour, Chicken (18%), All Vegetable Margarine (contains Vegetable Fats and Oils, Emulsifiers: Mono and Di-Glycerides of Fatty Acids, Natural Vegetable Colours: Annatto, Curcumin), Water, Salt.
