Prawn Pasta Bake
Ingredients
Serves 4- Ready in 50 minutes
- 350g fusili pasta
- 500g frozen mixed veg
- 2 slices thick white bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tsp dill
- 300ml creme fraiche
- 300g cooked and peeled prawns
- Preheat the oven to 180c/fan 160c/gas mark 4
- cook the pasta according to pack instructions. In the last minute of cooking add the mixed vegetables. Drain and set aside.
- In a blender whizz the bread until it forms breadcrumbs. In a pan melt the butter and add the breadcrumbs to this. Stir in 1 teaspoon of the dill.
- Stir the remaining dill into the creme fraiche. Mix this with the pasta and vegetables. Add the prawns and mix well. Put the mixture into a large baking dish, and top with the breadcrumbs. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
